Due to Coronavirus, the Bonnington Centre and Cafe are closed until further notice.

The Bonnington Centre Community Association (BCCA) would like to send positive wishes to all centre and cafe users, hirers and cooks during this difficult time.

The BCCA would also like to take this opportunity to confirm its commitment to re-opening the centre and cafe for the benefit of all the community when it is safe to do so.

Frontline meals was started out of a desire to act when it was clear NHS staff were not able to access food at the end of shifts late in the night.

Meals are provided to staff at St Thomas' Hospital A&E departments, Intensive Care Units and Evalina Children's Hospital.

Numbers of meals so far have ranged from 100 - 1400 and are vegetarian, packeaged ready to be heated up when staff needing a meal, come off shifts at 4am.

Frontline Meals team would like to send sincerest gratitude and respect to the NHS workers and to the Bonnington Centre for making it possible, as well as local residents who have helped with donations, time and labour in socially distanced food peeling and chopping as well as deliveries.

Everyone coming together as a team has made this collective success happen.
