Enjoy practising the ancient art of yoga, a method for developing a healthy body and mind.

Iyengar yoga is a style of yoga which puts emphasis on precision and alignment, sometimes using props to help people understand and ease into the poses.

Like most yoga schools it is based on the yoga philosophy of Patanjali, which is a system of moral, physical and mental exercise.
 
There is no set sequence of asanas (postures) and classes vary from dynamic to relaxing and restorative.

Nick Rixen

Nick has been practising yoga for 17 years, teaching for 10 years and holds an Iyengar yoga teaching certificate. He’s studied with the Iyengar family in Pune (India).

Nick has taught retreats in Turkey and Greece.
