There's lots going on at the Bonnington Centre such as classes in pilates, yoga,  chi, gung  and free monthly community events.

There are also one to one sessions available in acupuncture, counselling & psychotherapy and reiki.

The Cafe

The Bonnington Cafe on the ground floor of the Centre is vegetarian and open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.

Drawing Course for Complete Beginners

The course has been developed to help you to start drawing and improve your drawing abilities at the most basic level. You don’t need to have any previous drawing experience just bring a willingness to have a go and have some fun.

 

Each lesson is structured around a specific learning objective (see full Course Programme below). There is no figure drawing on this course. Classes are limited to 10 people so you get lots of individual attention.

 

Week 1: Overview of Drawing Concepts.

Week 2: Geometry and perspective. Learning to see.

Week 3: Shadow and tone. Rendering space.

Week 4: Understanding and exploring form, light and tone. Compositional considerations.

Week 5: Learning from the masters. Landscape.

This crochet class is designed for anyone who is new to crochet and will introduce you to the wonderful world of Amigurumi. Originating in Japan, Amigurumi the art of making small stuffed toys from yarn. We will guide you through the steps while you sip tea and munch biscuits.
